Is it not covered in the 3Y warranty?

Genuine Jaguar Land Rover 12 volt batteries are covered by a 3 year warranty. All other batteries are covered by the standard part warranty period as detailed above.

I had the battery warning quite regularly when I first got mine.

I replaced both batteries with new Exide batteries (OEM supplier to LR) and I've never had the issue since.

I purchased mine from Tayna. Exide EK950 (main) and EK700. Kev

2014 L405 RR Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 in Corris Grey
2010 L320 RRS HSE 3.0 TDV6 in Stornoway Grey

I have emailed the local dealer and see what they come back with. I will call them on Tuesday. Fingers cross they are covered by the warrenty and can be replaced before my holiday.

Today with the multimeter connected the voltage dropped to 8V when I started the engine and then increase to 14v when the engine was running.

I had the warning a few times at the begining, when I was playing the the car. But since then not really. As I said in the last 2 months twice. Even with then using the CTek charger on the car at the weekend.

I found the post where I was told that the voltage at the posts and at the battery was different. I think they shouldn't, but would like others opinion.

So I got a reply from the garage. The 3yr warranty of course finished a month ago. I will go to the garage on Wednesday and they will test them and have replacement ones if needed.

If I don't go on Wednesday the next appointment is in January.

It is raining today so I won't check the battery myself today. SDV8 AB MY 2020

So the battery was checked at the garage today. They said that it is fine but did a software update - but wouldn't give me details. I am going to take my charger and an extension lead with me on holiday.

The tool is on the way and a monitor which I can connect to the battery. SDV8 AB MY 2020
