you'll get hot and cold bulb monitoring which causes flickering...this can be switched off with a diagnostic tool... ... - .- -.

Yeah, as Stan suggests, the LCM checks bulb operation on startup and when running for bulb failures… as you know… that’s prob at least the initial flicker. I don’t know enough about the ballasts and stuff to know if that is supposed to sort it.

I don’t have ballasts on mine, don’t know what dictates whether the units need one. I know when I put LEDs in the side indicators they would only work one way round. Can’t remember what it said on the H7 LED replacements as they just worked first time. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Whilst your low beams seem to be set at about the correct height, perhaps aiming the lights a little lower to get the fill-ins lower might not have much impact on the low beam cut-off.
