I am assuming there’s an issue with the driver side outter parking sensor… (mostly likely the wiring going to the sensor got pulled )

I bought my car with the parking sensors not working - front and rear. Turned out to be the rear bumper wiring loom. Was only £40 for a new loom from ducksworth |

Likley just a cut wire where they go through the inner steel bumper (Common result after a nudge) so can be repaired without doing the whole loom. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Pulled the bumper off and tested loom am getting continuity across all there sensor wires !

So I had a bit of time this evening and decided to remove the sheathing and tape on the loom … as you said broken wire !!! Obviously when I tested the wire it was bloody working !!! Lol |

The wiring on these cars is terrible quality. Bare unsheathed ends to connectors exposed to the elements and vulnerable to minor abrasions and impacts. They were never designed to last long..... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
