Knocking noise from front

I have a knocking noise coming from the front of my 2013, 405.
It’s been to the garage a couple of times, but not sorted.
I’m no mechanic, so bear with me, they’ve changed the front lower arms? No joy !!
They now think it could be the dampers, I’m not so sure.
The noise is worse at low speeds, as you go faster, it’s less pronounced.
I’ve had a trawl on the tinterweb, and found that it might be another couple of arms with rubber bushes on the ends??
Please excuse the poor description, any suggestions please. Rolling Eyes
Cheers

I have sway bar bushings and hardware on order. I already replaced the sway bar end links and both front lower control arms. Same symptoms as you, although everything was worn. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

I’m tempted to let the garage replace the dampers, as it’s all being done under warranty, hopefully then by the time it’s all sorted, I might have mostly new suspension up front Thumbs Up

Wouldn’t be “tempted”, would maximise all you can get out of the warranty 👍

Which parts specifically?

I am replacing the front and rear swaybar bushings tonight if I have enough time. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Me too.

I am down to upper control arms, air struts, and the transfer case/driveline.

I am pretty certain it is the transfer case/driveline. I have completed a transfer case software update, double flush and recalibrated once. I need to recalibrate again. It is a significant clunk at wide-open throttle and a hard downshift. It will also make the clunk when in S1. I think it is the transfer case plates locking the electronic differential.

I have no one to compare against though. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Mine has to be suspension related at I get it when turning to ho over driveway apron on a 45*. I also sometimes get just turning the steering wheel after backing out over the driveway apron when putting it into drive it will clunk starting forward/turning the steering wheel back 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
