United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Tonga Green

It’s all built in. Follow the instructions on the screen when you switch it on. It’s simple. 😉 Tym

If it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needs replacing anyway.

Genuinely very impressed so far. Ordered Monday late afternoon, and arrived at 9.30 this morning!

Should get a bit of time this weekend to install.

One question prior to install tomorrow.

I'm looking to add a Firestick to the HDMI port, which will require a power source. On the installation instructions, it states not to use the USB port for power to the HDMI source?

What's the best alternative other than feeding another wire down to the centre console which I'd really like to avoid? 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Must say, I’m over the moon with it so far. Really brings the car up to date, and works flawlessly. Well worth the investment in my opinion.

Also added a firestick to it so no need to upgrade my old analogue tv tuner to digital.

How does the fire stick work? My TV is a bit rubbish with the reception. Tym

I’ve added mobile wifi to the car, so it connects to that. Also had the firestick ‘cracked’ so can watch any normal station. I just need to work out how to do it whereby the rear screens work off the firestick independently to the front. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

So I bought a mobile wifi hotspot along with an unlimited data sim.

TP-Link M7350 4G LTE MiFi,... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XC16QC1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The USB simply wouldn’t give enough power to the firestick, so bought the below from Amazon which worked a treat.

Question regarding aux in

Quick question for the brain trust. Im considering buying this with wireless CarPlay.

With regards to connecting the aux - I have a bluetooth aux. Will this work though my iPhone?

This is what I have installed

Austria 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

Hi,

i am thinking to bite the bullet and order the new version of the navtool - wireless car play sounds great. As i have a aux input via most box i can imagine that i need no cables to run in the front und place the box also in the back (close the bus in the glove box).

Can you answer me some questions:

- It says that the unit uses the original microphone? Can you confirm that?
- Wheel buttons will not work for the unit, no?

Thank you,

Klemens

The box is fitted in the rear using the connections to the sat nav unit. The aux cable I’ve run from the rear to the closest aux socket for me which is the rear of the centre console.

The original microphone is used so no need to fit another.
The only steering wheel function that it retains is volume, everything else can be actioned via the touchscreen or your phone.

Hope this all helps. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Re: MY2012 L322 S/C (North American, left hand side steering wheel)

What's the best/easiest route to access the radio module by the glovebox, and the back of the LCD head unit as well? Can I remove the vent covers on either end of the dash, then the middle vent cover, then the center speaker grill, and then screws? Or do I also need to go through removing the gloveboxes too? 2012 Supercharged L322
