Replaced mine last august (2011FF) after one cracked and a second showed heavy wear, mostly around the clamps.(see picture)

When you see how much “crud” has built up inside, you will want to remove it to clean it out. |

HI Keith Moon, Sorry for the delay in answering, been off driving the "Beast" around Europe. Yes, must remove the air intake 'donut' which is not complicated. Just a lot of little bolts. Be careful with the plastic hoses and electric connectors. It will give you a good opportunity to clean the muck inside. Brake cleaner and Mineral spirits work wonders. Did mine in under 3 hours taking my time. All the best RR HSE TDV8 4.4 2012 Jaguar S type 3.6l Jaguar XJ8 Jaguar X type 3l Triumph TR6 1976 - Jeep CJ7 1976 |

thanks - I’ve got the cleaned donut back in situ but struggling a bit to slide the new silicone hoses from the donut across to make the seal - are there any tips on how best to do this? cheers |

Too tight /small or too much friction? Try some silicone spray or grease? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

all sorted thanks with a bit of perseverance (and a chisel!) - now just waiting for the Araldite to harden on the broken water pipe junction! |

Looking at the right hand side picture, I had a lot of oil all over the 3 smaller hoses in-between the intake pipes.... Any ideas as to where that might be coming from... Only looked as needed to clear the MAP Sensor, due to going into Restricted Performance... But now think something else might have caused a pressure issue....
