That bush requires the alignment to be set up after it's been replaced.

They could have done the tracking at the same time and not have done it right which could explain it being out.

Definitely no mention of alignment on the invoice so that could well be the problem.

Glenrands do alignment work AFAIK. Mine's just failed for the same reason and it needs a new bolt as the original one is seized in the bushing so they have to cut it out. Glenrands looked at it a few weeks ago and said they needed replacing but didn't have time to do the work due to them expecting to have to cut out the bolts x4 so I'm lucky only one has failed. AFAIK these bolts only adjust the camber ? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Had results several times using a 3/4 inch drive HGV rattle gun, it either shakes them loose or sheers the bolt clean off and then no need to cut them, punch them out with an air chisel...  Pete

It does seem a bit crusty but I think it looks worse in the photos than it actually is. I was wondering if I could clean it up a bit.

I had the sills and rear wheel arches checked and treated a couple of years ago so hopefully they're still good.

It's going back on Friday to have 4 wheel alignment done. Hopefully that's all it needs. The garage disagrees that this joint requires the alignment to be done but they're doing it anyway. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
