Looks like you’ll have to remove the mirror for a start….this will give you a better understanding of how the said finishing strip attaches ( maybe )

G’day Sylvain, most of the aluminium trims I’ve had to remove in the past have either been pressed on with a small roll of the trim either side to hold them on the window frame and some of the trims have been secured with double sided tape.

Ok I’ve had a close look at the top door frame on my L322, you’ll have to definitely remove the side mirror, if you pull the door seal away all the way down to the top of the door skin to gain access to the fittings…..on top you’ll find a self tapping screw in the corner of the door frame, further down i (think) you’ll find three more self tapping screws these you will gain access if you have window down and pull the bailey channel out. From there if you have some plastic body tools you can gently remove the aluminium trim. Hope this helps you get it started. 😎🇦🇺 |
