Have you had a look under the door seal? On the parts blow up there seems to be some sort of fixing at the top rear of the window. Also, I wonder if the mirror needs to come off? |

Firstly, I have not done this job, but I have had the door cards and door mirrors off completely, then you could peel back the insulation ( as in changing door pull cables ) and see where the part goes into the door, and see if there are any fastenings, not a real answer but hope this helps a bit. Access this way MAY make the job easier.

Below are two videos for removal and fitting of the door cards, quite easy especially if you have a car trim kit of tools ( Quite cheap and very handy ) Mine have been off several times, never had any clips break at all.
