Agreed, better stuck shut than stuck open, just trying to remember the last time we've had ours open, no can't remember tbh |

You could start by removing the access panel shown 1 in the picture. This allows access to the motor and drive shaft

Back in the olden days there used to be a manual override using an Allen key or similar.

Just a thought, it’s possible the sunroof need’s initialised for some reason.

What's the best "grease" type to use on the rails? Just thinking as part of some preventative maintenance... |

I used silica grease, it must be ok as my sunroof still works. |

Read the above post and couldn't help thinking................whilst your at it, you could also put some lube on the roof rails at the same time |
