Not the ideal fix I know, but I seem to remember someone spraying WD40 in to keep it quiet. No idea how long it lasted or exactly where to spray…. but….

I think they sprayed via pollen box removal engine side Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
