Good luck FF777 if you are a perfectionist then I am sure you will do a good job, it is quite hard to get a fully flush fit but persevere! What are you going to seal it with? Pendle

I have just removed the lens from a new 2018+ light unit and what a pain the ass it was...its not too bad to crack around the edge of the old lens to remove it, heating it up will make ZERO difference as its not bonded it glue, brittle!.

But it leaves so much in the "groove" on the light unit that's not coming out.

Only way was to break it off bit by bit but being so bloody careful not to touch any part of the light unit...and then the only way i could get a groove back for the new lens to sit into was to use a 3mm drill bit and VERY carefully bore into the left over lens on the light unit.

What a pain in the ass....then....

Trying to get the little Red plastic clip out of the wire plug to re-pin it was just a night mare, came out in bits, then damaged the pins, and the plug is now useless!.....i have removed countless pins from plugs over the years but these were a real pain.

So, does anyone know where i can get one of these from please?...tried Simtek before anyone says....

Seems that EPC plugs are a mystery and the ref on it PBT-GF33 is non existent!?.

I agree! was a nightmare! lucky I had a patient perfectionist on hand when I did it!
