That’s fine crocs, I’ve an order, a drive, and. If that’s trolling, that’s on you. Happy to have a beer when none of us are driving . None of the above is trolling, but if you’re bowing out I respect that.. I’ve made way too many distracting posts.

If I disagree with another members viewpoint, personally I would 'beg to differ' with decorum, not insults. Maybe some one had a bad morning or SWMBO stopped his conjugal rights Rolling with laughter

Thing is, the initial launch was nicely done, I thought. The pictures of the L460 were leaked in the end, but I was quite impressed how they had kept it quiet until that point, and then we were treated to some good quality video content from the likes of Harry's Garage etc.

I expected - like with the Defender launch - there would be similar fanfare with the "driving" reviews, but this is where is all went wrong as we've been talking about here. I know Steve Cropley made reference to this in his diary in Autocar, but it still seems extraordinary that they could screw it up so badly.

Having said that, I know others who have deposits on the car, but who are not so "into cars" as I am, and they've not noticed anything untoward, so perhaps it's just the nerds (speaking personally!) who get upset about this sort of thing. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

A good review. I tend to agree with the conclusion ie go for the SE and spec it to what you want rather than another version specced with what JLR want.

One from carfection. Thought this was a proper review.

Henry Catchpole at Carfection always does good reviews KurtVerbose - Him and Alex Goy are two of my favourite reviewers.

I've also just found this Autocar review - This guy (Matt Prior) also does some really good reviews.

Here he makes some interesting observations about the differences between Standard and Long Wheelbase models, and gives a very good overall review.

This is probably the most interesting review I've seen to date:

Interesting view from a US publication:

The Autocar and Road and Track reviews seem to be contradictory. Autocar said the SWB V8 had the better ride over the LWB six and Road and Track said the opposite.

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

First group test I’ve seen of the 460 is in the June edition of Car Magazine.

Up against Bentley & Porsche. I found the photography helpful, showing a good old-fashioned green one without privacy glass: what pleasure!

Oh and by the way (spoiler alert), the RR was 5*, the others got 4. 2016 SDV8 AB

Yes, I've just read the Car magazine review. Nice article although I initially questioned why they would test it against the Cayenne. Bentley I can just about understand, I guess (although it wouldn't occur to me to consider one).

I thought it surprising the comment about people flocking around the Bentley and not noticing the FFRR, but I guess that's one of the things we like about the car, its understated presence.

Agree about the pictures - it's the first time I've seen a car with the exact wheels that I've ordered. And, possibly a comment for the colours thread, but it confirmed my feeling that I'm right not to go with the Belgravia Green, nice as it looked. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
