Press reviews

Does anyone have any insight as to when we can expect the first press reviews of the L460? I had heard ‘February’ which presumably means they’ll be out in the next week.

My dealer told me there was an embargo until March 21st.

There was a reader question in Car magazine this month about when the full reviews were coming out - the reply was in the next few months, which doesn't point to today sadly. And last week's Autocar didn't mention the RR in the 'what is in next week's edition' section.

I believe all of the reviews are delayed because they cannot currently build First Edition derivatives which being the highest spec, they want the press to be reviewing

But it seems that cars were tested offroad in February - ref this video from Feb 26: https://youtube.com/shorts/xbpfiL4r4yA. Of course this could have been LR test drivers, and not the press.

At least the first cars are starting to get shipped to the dealers - a video from Monday 14th of March:

That’s taken at Solihull factory and possible the same day as I was there, images identical.


Lets hope that we'll get some proper reviews before April/May. And that the production ramp-up isn't delayed too much due to chip/component/wiring shortage!

Customer cars (as opposed to the LR cars we've seen so far on the road) are meant to be delivered in the next week, I understood. So we'll be in a situation where we see more and more of them on the roads, but have yet to read any press reviews? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
