Service manual 2006 AJV8

Can someone point me towards a guide for scheduled maintenance items?

I'm looking for fluid and filter specs, torque values etc.

A youtube guide or otherwise would be welcome, too. Yes, I'm considering tackling the simple stuff myself. --------

Check out the 'Wiki' section, scroll down to the 'Info' section and you will find service schedule sheets, plus oil service schedules for different models.
Using the search function will also give you a wealth of info Thumbs Up

Thanks a lot. I've looked in the wiki and there is actually very little on the AJV8 4.4L -- however, there is an incredible resource in the 06-10 Workshop Manual, form which I've learnt that my engine is actually an AJ41!.

I've looked through this and cannot find a reference to the oil capacity, which is surprising, to say the least. --------

Is the AJ48 4.2L Supercharged the same specification for oil capacity and spec as the AJ41 4.4L V8? --------

Afaik it’s slightly bigger capacity but is missing the blower aside from that there are lots of similarities so I’d imagine so Current stable:

The exact capacity of my AJ41 is 7.7 litres including filter. Do not know if you have WIX filters in the UK but it is #57302 and I use 5W30 synthetic oil in the winter here works great in 08 RR lux as my snow car. Hope this helps

Owning a 2006 MY myself, I know about the PITA about the right WSM. The 2006 isa transition model - at least mine is one. So I check the 2006-2010 WSM first and then the 2002-2005 to get an idea.
The AJV8 is covered in the 2006-2010 WSM together with the other engine variants. 7.7 Liter is the correct amount and 5W30 is the official recommendation but I never had any issues with 5W40 (5W30 rips your wallet apart). When I do oil and filter I fill in about 6-6.5 Liters and the top off according to the dipstick, about 7 Liters seems to be normal for me. Keep in mind: they don't like overfilling, so better go a bit under the max, drive some miles and then top off to the max.
Most torque values are named in the service description itself.
