Update!

I could fix my FAULTMATE so I can write setting back to the instrument cluster. I enabled the park heater but still can't use it.

Here what I did already.

Instrument Cluster:
Park heating enabled
Park ventilation enabled (was the default setting)

HEVAC
Auxiliary fuel burning heating fitted
park fuel burning heating enabled

Gateway
Auxiliary fuel burning heater fitted

But unfortunately I still can't activate the heater nor using the remote neither the touch screen...

hmm, I'm running out of ideas what to do next!?

I Would ditch all the timed stuff, you can trigger a countdown timer relay connected directly to the Thermotop. I use a Sim card Garage opener. SO I just call it in the morning and it comes on for 30 mins. I have posted a thread about this a while back. L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

I don't need the timer but as far as I know the OE Webasto unit needs to communicate to the car via the K-bus anyway. Otherwise you can't even switch it on nor by a Telestart remote neither by a GSM trigger. The HEVAC model needs the connection as well to open the extra water valve and switch on the blower to heat up the cabin.

You should now have AUX Heat and Vent appear on the screen if it has updated if not I would do a battery reset thats what I had to do before it came on the screen.

the park ventilation screen was already there before I started to set up the fbh. I can program the timer and ist works as it should but without switching on the Webasto unit. When I push the "manual" button on the screen nothing happens just the button got a red surrounding to show it is switched on. it seems to be the head unit doesn't send the correct message to the K-bus. Will try to play with the settings on the weekend.

Do you have the remote key module in the boot ? or even the three wire plug that it would normally connect to...? L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

yes, when I installed the Webasto unit I also added the remote box. When I use the remote the Faultmate shows me the Webasto unit receives the signal from the box but nothing happens.

I think you should start a separate thread about this as it's nothing todo with my original.

In deed it could make sense to open a new thread. Maybe I will do so when I know what to do next.
Anyways, but why you claim this thread for you as you haven't started it? Looks more you highjacked it too.

Best
