Thanks for that, checked, they are closed today but will give them a ring. But at least I now have an excuse to take the car for a jolly on the motorway every other week haha! 2011 4.4TDV8

Almost a month now and car still running perfectly. Not really been out of town so DPF been up twice and immediately been on the motorway to clear it and within 20 minutes its gone. Not risking it again!! Loving the car but reading some issues some have had when MOT comes up I am panicking. This is 11 years old with 181K on the clock, passed its MOT in Nov so may sell it soon as everything works perfectly, best sell before anything goes wrong. Maybe see if I can buy a younger version. 2011 4.4TDV8

Any yellow dpf lights? If not, don't monitor or risk going bonkers about soot Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

No yellow lights, just trying to track down poor mpg on my car. I’d like to know if it’s excessively regen’ing… or at least eliminate all things DPF from my investigations! Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

There are a lot of factors and behaviour varies. I have spent 3 years monitoring it and getting a handle on it.

The trip should be pretty accurate vs calculated. The ECU is programmed to be 7% optimistic but you can reset this with the GAP IID tool and mine is now within <1mpg of the actual measured mpg. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

On the MPG issue, if I reset my trip on the motorway, the dash will read 40mpg.
