I think they are saying it isn’t part of the vogue spec. How can I go back to them and say it is? 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

depends what you mean re 'slamming shut'.....get them to open/close some tailgates on their forecourt and see if its anything like yours.. ... - .- -.

yes, I did and it did the soft close! they are saying mine does it so minutely you cannot see it happen!! 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

Thanks Stan. Does the extract say it is all L405 variants? They will say that it is Vogue SE and above or somtheing stupid! 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

so it looks like one of the boot struts is being replaced. I guess that might slow the closure speed of the tailgate.

Mine all works properly now. It was all about the alignment which required the hinges to be moved about until the doors closed with the soft close. Had to go to the body shop as the garage couldn't do it. 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel
