I was wondering the same. I don’t want reduced boot space but also not keen on not having a spare wheel at all when this is the car I do my long journeys in. Long gone are the days when a full size spare was about £250! |

One of the things I did at Gaydon was lift the floor and check there was sufficient space for a full size spare wheel, I was sure there was and it was confirmed by the head of engineering who was stood next to me. I have specked a FSSW. letters not necessarily in the right order |

I can't see how a full size 22" wheel fits without raising the floor and a space saver doesn't.

Price for a full-size spare is insane - it used to be about £200. |

A FSSW is obviously pretty tight as it deletes the leather cushions from the Tailgate Event Suite on the First Edition if specified (space saver is still fine). Yet it leaves the functionality without the cushions.

Likewise Autobiography....... I've also spec'd the Space Saver wheel (or Reduced Section Spare Alloy, as JLR call it).

I can't really see the advantage in the First Edition unless you specifically want the options it includes (or am I missing something). My dealer said it makes no difference to delivery time. |

The First Edition has a stronger residual and is slightly cheaper than an equivalent spec Autobiography (with the P530 engine anyway).

From the configurator it seems like full size spare wheels are only available for 21" wheels (Perhaps also 20"?). If you select a full size spare and then select 22" inch wheels, the configurator wants to remove the full size and add a reduced section spare.
