The switch is to set the distance used by the adaptive cruise control and forward alert.

I presume then without that bit, the distance is a preset/default from the factory? |

A friend of mine has a few for sale at the moment, not sure if one would suit you, he has sold loads of the L322 since they came out so knows them well - https://www.ccsales.co.uk/ |

If those toggle switches are not there, the car doesn’t have adaptive cruise control or forward alert. Only normal cruise control.

Och, damnit. I thought it was built in as I'd been looking at one that said it had adaptive cruise control but didn't have those buttons. |

Thanks I guess its just the fear of getting a lemon.. Its especially difficult as being up in Edinburgh, most of them are quite a bit south of the border so I can't nip out here and there to see things in the flesh. |

I feel your pain, I’m an hour north of you and travelled way down south for my last 2 , Essex & barrow in furness. As soon as you find it, fire a deposit subject to viewing it’s the only way to do it

I think I've narrowed it down to the one I want from a shortlist of 8.

Is there a way to categorically determine if a car is a genuine autobiography or just a vogue se?
