Couldn't get the Telestart working after purchasing a remote. Just would not pair.

Then realised I didn't actually have power going to the Telestart module!

Discovered it was tucked around a bracket and then behind the main loom. Once it was plugged in.. Still no joy and further realised the battery in the fob was dud! Replacement ordered, fitted and everything synced up in less than 60 seconds! 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'

2011 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Just bought a very similar '12 plate black Westminister vehicle on 80k miles up in Middlesborough and paid £17k Didn't have the rear seat entertainment or deployable steps but it does have the cooled seats and Harmon Kardon 1200w system which is the only thing I would say is really worth holding out for. It really is epic.

Your unicorn does exist!

Any clues since as to why it might have been disconnected? Can only presume possible interference with something else, otherwise if you didn't want to use it you'd chuck the remote in a draw (& lose it, like lots of people do haha). 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

No idea. Was worried about battery drain but then... You'd just not switch it on, surely.

Can't identify any reason why it wasn't plugged in. It doesn't look like it ever was so I can only surmise it wasn't plugged in from the factory or was unplugged when relatively new to avoid accidently switching it on. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE - 'Black Betty'

I did want the 1200w system and the Deployable side steps but they were more on the 'would be nice' column rather than 'must have'. Did want side steps so settled for normal ones - needed them for elderly relatives who's struggle otherwise.

Heated and cooled seats, RSE and ACC were in the must column, along with the 4.4 tdv8 lump.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the car. I'm about to drive it up north tomorrow and back down for a wee 450 round trip. Shall see how she fares

Had a run up to Inverness and back, just shy of 400 miles and despite enjoying some very spirited driving, she returned pretty decent figures!

2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey

Wouldn't trust the MPG display - mine shows 35mpg but it's the DTE after a fill is way less as is the calculated mpg on fuel in vs miles done since last fill. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
