Changed battery out for another 020. Seemed heavier than it did last time (7 years ago). Can't be age related 🤔. Battery tray in a good condition. Previous cars:

Took her in this morning for an MOT, passed with just a few advisories. Small amount of black smoke under acceleration, I couldn't see any when he revved it, wonder if that's because I've blanked off egrs, he did look under bonnet, not sure if he was looking to see if I had. Front brake hoses corroded, rust on sills and CV boot split. Rather chuffed really, I was expecting more. |

Replaced the drive belt tensioner as the belt had started to run off the edge of the pulley. Old one had a big cracked on the backside of it. Got a genuine tensioner from LR dealer. And also replaced the fuel filter with a genuine one as the old one, although only a few months old, was an aftermarket one.

Had my first fault since buying my RR, had an adaptive dynamics warning on, diagnosed (wire broken on osf strut top) repaired and all done within 10mins and the best part was it didn’t cost me a penny. (Im a technician) happy days! |
