Can anyone advise the colour of new PAS fluid?

This is the colour of my current fluid. Trying to judge it's age.

Green when mine was renewed Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils

Yes, it should be green. I used this

I've concluded this oil is definitely past it's best.

Ordered 5 litres from Smith & Allan.

The manual states 4 litres need to be used to flush properly so I'll put that on the list of things to do next.

Good choice. I also use the Smith and Allan Cold Climate fluid. I used to use it on my old L320 RRS in the power steering system and the dynamic response system. I now use it in the L405 dynamic response also. Kev

If in doubt, get it out mate.

Best advice I can give, pretty simple job changing pas fluid. Just like anything, it can be time consuming

I thought all PAS fluid was red, obviously not. What’s the difference? Can they be mixed? 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

1997 TVR Chimaera 450, Formula Red, Grey

PAS fluid is normally just ATF which is generally red.

The RR takes cold climate fluid which is less viscous, it appears to be green from LR. Not sure what colour the stuff I'll get will be as its not coming from LR, but is a compatible alternative. Christian.

I hope someone does a write up of how to change it.
Mine is 10 years, 80,000 mls old, so probably overdue.
I have got a Draper oil suction pump , but not sure if that is the way to go about it ??.
Any help appreciated.

I never changed it in my Td6, 100,000+ miles and twelve years old when I p/x it.

Try page 526 of the WSM, it gives details of the fluid flushing/refill. I did mine like this. Caution is needed as it does pump the fluid in FAST. Diagram shows a RRS !!!

there is also a youtube video but again its for the sport...cant be far off being the same as a L322??? ... - .- -.
