If you ever wondered why our gallons are different sizes, the US uses a Queen Anne wine gallon as their measure, and the UK uses a beer gallon as our measure. Back in ye olden days a gallon varied in size based on how strong the drink was.

1 and a half weeks into my 4.4 sdv8 ownership and current average is about 29mpg but has been a lot of short runs and stop starts. Very impressed upto now . The one longish run I did on the motorway returned 38.4 mpg Paul

I kept it to 70mph max and there was quite a bit of traffic, but when I drove back from Manchester on Friday it managed 40.3mpg. Shows what it can achieve when you don't press on, although if it was accurately calculated it would be c37.5-38mpg. Still pretty good and a lot better than normal. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid
