Airbag removal

Hi all I’m struggling here long thin cross head and flat head blades and can’t feel a spring is there a specific screwdriver size that work? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

Flat blade, maybe 3mm or 4mm, as you sit in the seat push the screwdriver in until resistance then lever it back towards you, that releases the catch, same on other side and bag should just lift off.

Piece of Censored once you have done it before

Needs to go in about 4 inches at a guess, so 6 inch blade should be fine

It requires a bit of fiddling to make contact with the end of the spring as if you push the tool in to far it passes the end to be compressed. John

Can be very frustrating getting the unit off Big Cry As one spring is released only to relocate when you try to remove the other one.

I filed a V in my screwdriver, to enable the release spring location. I'm sure that there are other posts on here, that explain the process clearer.
