This was actually yesterday but took my new one on a round trip to Bath to collect Son from Uni.

I thought the Westie was a great drive but this L405 is even better and the active roll control is fabulous on some of the twisty roads and long bends.

After a thorough wash, I finally did my duty and appeased the forum gods:

Bought the trailer home again and finally figured out why the trailer lights don't work properly. The led lights are faulty but they have fog lights, reverse lights built in.

As they say less is more. These appeared too do the trick so ordered another pair of lights and go double lights either side.

Re-fitted my DPF would have been a lot easier with a second person, at my age my octopus skills are not what they used to be  2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Used up half a tank of fuel going to four different equestrian shops. Trying to find half chaps and a helmet for myself. Finally found a helmet big enough for my 65cm circumference. Was nice driving around.

All 4 discs and pads, well I did it yesterday but was too knackered to type when I’d finished. All good on the front thanks to the guides here. The back was a different story, one disc almost welded on and one calliper seized, I can’t believe it passed its MOT 6 weeks ago. Got them working for now but a pair of replacement rear callipers are on the cards

Replaced both front ball joints & lower arms over the last 2 days & looking at the bushes they were toast! Just need airsprings now so I can complete the job.

Pretty straight forward, many thanks to northernmonkeyjones for his how too although he did the lower arms it helped me out.
Ball joints came out better than expected, just bang away at them with a hammer & chisel for a while!!!

Soaked everything in WD40s penetrating oil but saw nil evidence of it soaking in, so need to get some duck oil instead.
