I wonder if you can help me here.
My 2014 L405 is having the front suspension lower arms with ball joints and bushes replaced by an Indie.
Apart from maybe tracking, does the whole steering geometry need resetting, please ?

It’s probably not urgently needed as there isn’t any adjustment on the lower arms. They are just bolt on.

However that said it depends on if the camber has ever been adjusted on the top mount and if this was done with the worn lower arms. It’s worth getting it on a 4wheel machine periodically in any case just to check. These cars are so sensitive to tracking setup that just doing the toe may throw other things out, and for the sake of a few quids to have it done properly it will save on tyres in the long run.

4 wheel machines are becoming more common place now, it’s just finding a decent place who know how to use them properly. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

South Bucks, not far from High Wycombe.
I located a garage in Cressex Industrial Estate called Adams & Page.
Never used them obviously but thought I might drive round there and have a word with them.
