Pirelli Scorpion All Season aren't available in the right size for the L322 unfortunately.

I have 255/50/20 on mine so it that case they offer different dimensions in different countries - which seems odd.

I had a look at ours before it was fitted, its just a super light weight piece of foam stuck to them - nothing special but it certainly works.

I´ve only had mine for a year, of which I´ve run winters for 4 months, so I can´t speak to long term quality or performance.

Just a quick look Blackdog, as I was surprised you said the Falkens were only £3 cheaper than Michelin’s and Pirellis, when here they are over 100€ cheaper than these brands, if that’s the case then the Michelin’s would be a bargain in the UK. Note we get our tyres online from anywhere in the EU, where ever is cheapest, so it’s not just a Spanish thing on pricing or supply (I agree the spec is definitely different where Land Rover UK allow 110-W rated tyres but here in Spain it’s 109-Y only).

Noise level is the main thing I'm looking for.

The Falkens are cheaper at a lot of places other than mytyres. I would suggest doing a further search and get a better deal on what ever tyre you choose.

Yup, I did a comparison yesterday on blackcircles; although I used the fitted option and now learn that the OP fits themselves. Tyres vary so much in pricing, and it used to be the case that ordering from within the EU made a lot of sense. Most of my tyres were delivered from Germany either direct or via one of the many white label websites. Now following Brexit that has changed the dynamics a bit regarding import and the VAT treatment. As dhallworth mentioned originally, it is a nice weather car. So for the best experience, most luxurious and quietest experience I take that as using summer tyres of the best quality only. Mainly as there is no need for all weather, or offroad capability which is all a compromise. Pirelly P Zero is only £149 per tyre with same day dispatch in the desired size and with JLR markings. Michelin latitude Tour HP would be the queitest rating at 71dB. But only one less than the P Zero and for £50 per tyre more. Both from camskill, but camskill for whatever reason only do the W ratings. The Y versions are about £30 more from other places. Another, perhaps slightly more unusual choice would be Bridgestone Turanza T005 at around £189. I really like them, but only have used them on smaller cars; great economy and weather rating as well. The new Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season is close to be the quietest of them all though at 69dB. Just piped to the crown by the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 at 68dB. Me personally, I have the Pirelli All Season but in 22" so not really comparable. And on my 20" wheels I have Radar AT5 all terrain ones so again not comparable... Oh and don't forget Quidco cashback ![]() ![]() |

Which to be fair is to be expected, but also an exceptional circumstance. So a bit of a shocker then; when the tyre is damaged the foam doesn’t work well anymore.
