Bootlid and backend tidy up

Ok not quite finished yet as the towbar trim had a reaction with the primer (god know why I used a different primer for it) overall I’m very pleased with the results given her some love Smile

That’s made a nice difference Smile

Always nice when you can see a noticeable difference when you’ve put some graft in.

Duckworths will sort you out with a proper number plate, from memory they’re about 20 quid for a pair.

Looks so much better mate. Is it a genuine bumper or a copy? I've been searching for one for ages.

Genuine bumper had it for about 4 years was originally on my 4.4 and then when I sold it it was being broken up and for some reason they didn’t care what bumper it had on it so I put the original on and it’s sat Behind the shed for nearly three years.
Then with the exhaust and bootlid I thought why not paint it at the same time didn’t cost me anything now except time.

I am debating weather to get some tip from powerful as want to join to the exhaust or to just extend the exhaust pipes straight into it. They are corroding again though Current stable:

It would look nice on a cold winter morning to see the exhaust steam actually coming out of the exhaust tips. Thumbs Up If the original tips are metal, could you have them re-chromed?

Re: Bootlid and backend tidy up

Nice job! Do you still have the original letters in grey and the trim strip? I am looking for a set...
