I'm assuming these are the original air shocks? & Would need LR032560 & 67 as replacement?

If so, they've done 135k I've had one spring a leak after jacking the rear up so they've done ok I guess.

Also time for a new trolley jack so what height trolley jack do you need to lift the front if using the cross member? SGS do a 3 tonne lifts 520mm but isn't available at the moment they have one that's 465mm I can order now but not sure it's enough. Or a low profile that'll hopefully fit under the Golf, it's 515mm but only 2.5 tonne.

Also, I'm confident it won't be but if I put on axle stands the deflating airbags wouldn't be any issues would it? In terms of being able to get it back off axle stands easily as I need to get underneath to do other jobs. Tight entry to my carport with plenty space on only 1 side (wall on other) so I can only work on 1 side at at time & need to turn it around to work on opposite sides, or front or back it's a bit of a PITA but at least it's flat unlike the driveway.

I just upgraded to the SGS 3 ton long reach jack, 525mm high is spot on. Brilliant!!!! My old 2.5 ton jack was a 500mm lift - that was a bit tight and seemed to be a struggle to lift it (the jack is 16 years old though).

I use a pair of 3 ton axle stands, they are a bit taller than your average Halfords ones and I have had no issues, even after sitting in the air for a week with the suspension sagging. I have been recommended Aerosus as a supension brand - mine are on order.

I ordered an SGS 3tonne one 535mm lift & also low profile so should fit under my golf .
Need to order shocks yet but likely Delphi from Advanced factors.

Although can’t do much at the moment as the manhole has collapsed on my, drive so can’t get car out of yard to turn it around until it’s repaired
