I get no more than 200 on a full tank. Mpg is normally between 11 and 12. Not thrashing just normal driving. Always 5/10 min trips so car doesnt even get going. Had 18mpg once and that was motorway driving. Wife wants to trade up to a TDV8 now cus of the fuel bills but I aint to fussed. The price of having a SC a suppose. Ya gotta love it Ex FFRR 4.2 Supercharged

On my Td6 you could go to Range = 0 and there was a little bit left. It took 102 litres which suggests a litre or two that would have been in the filler pipe as the tank was also 102 litres in size. Not something you'd want to do very often. On my TDV8 it was set with a much higher safety margin. Range = 0 on that meant I could only get about 88 litres in, there was still over 2 gallons in the tank! They both had the same size tank. |

It's long been my ambition, when the company was paying, to spend more than £100 at a single filling. I retired bought a FFRR and achieve that ambition regularly, spending my own money - I think "be careful what you wish for comes to mind" Geoff |
