United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Advice needed. Best thing to do to a concrete floor to make it nice in a garage. I want an easy solution please. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Dr Rob i PVA'd mine first after sweeping and hoovering then 2 coats of floor paint from Screwfix.
as the weather was so cold each coat was left 7 days to cure fully i will post a pic later. 1 5l tin did 2 coats on a single garage 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

Discovery V8 (LPG) - Gone

Rob,

pics below.

1) sweep and hoover garage floor
2) PVA 10 parts water to 1 part PVA leave 24hrs to cure
3) Hoover floor again then Paint with roller. depending on temp it can take 7 days to fully cure. Also leave door open fumes make you feel happy Shocked Mr. Green

It is Glue the same stuff kids use for craft

It’s to seal the floor and reduce suction on the coating from the substrate ie concrete.

Basic PVA will do the job and it’s cheap and fine on a dry floor. However PVA remains water soluble even after drying, so if the floor doesn’t have a DPC under it or is fairly newly laid then it’s advisible to use an SBR primer instead which isn’t water soluble once cured. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I have a triple garage. We've lived here for the past 38 years and I haven't had a car, except a Hillman I was restoring, in the garage. My motorcycle is in there, though.
