United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Or a cliff to push it off??

I will see what happens tomorrow if anything. Then will see what it’s cost what’s been fixed and then see if I need to take it anywhere and how much money I got left. I bought for £4600 I have spent £1500 already and if Martin charges me £1500 then it’s at 8kish. They are not worth that much now. Current Cars

@ajgalaxy. Whilst it might be a transmissions place initially they do know their stuff with other stuff and vehicle diagnosis as I've learned in the past.

Welcome too push it too my driveway if you like Ash 😆🤣

Completely get your point tho but hopefully when it's sorted it will be trouble free motoring. Only one person who's really going too loose out will be the garage I feel after all of this

I might check the mileage I bet it was fixed first week and been used as a hotdog van ever since ha

I don’t know. I was punchy and vibrant before all this. I’m now well and truly fed up.

Appreciate the support it’s been a tough 9 weeks. The forum has been a good sounding board. Current Cars

I feel for you, Ash. What a nightmare. After your patience and after the discussions you’ve had with them, I can’t believe they’re still only giving you half a story and that Martin isn’t talking to you.

It was when we started to get messed around by garages we built our workshop and tend to do the majority of our maintenance ourselves now.

Completely agree mate. How you've kept your cool all this time is beyond me n I take my hat off too you n your lucky to be in a position where you have the extra car to continue life with. After 9 weeks tho with pretty bad communication I'd be going mad at them. If they told me from the start it will be 7 weeks till the parts come in and maybe an extra week or two till its sorted that wouldn't have bothered me but spinning you off with all the bull crap drops it to a level of uncertainty and you being left not knowing whats right n not

The only thing that sounded alarm bells to me early on, they said they were going to get another vehicle in to compare signals, surely, if they're 'good' they would know if a signal was right or wrong?

I know they're complex vehicles, Ash has had a dreadful time with this company and as an outsider looking in they're either grossly incompetent or liars or both. BMW i3 Electric Car

The thing is as well. If I ever get it back say today (I know it won’t be today) I have wasted 9-10 weeks. Disaster.

I really don’t understand what they gain from all of this. By far the worst garage experience of my life and I haven’t even kicked off. Sean fumbles his words as he knows it’s been Censored . He has apologised and said he knows it’s not been good but hasn’t really been firm and offered a solid resolution. I want the car back this week!!! Current Cars

What I find quite sad about this is that Martin doesn't seem that bothered, he's put up a post on the L322 Owners Facebook group in the last hour giving a time estimate for a job, if he's that snowed under with work, you don't take on anything new until you've cleared your backlog.

Ash, if you're on Facebook, consider joining the group and ask him some hard questions on the group, it doesn't look like you've got much to lose.

I'd look at some legal advice as well, regarding betterment and what your position is.

Not on Facebook but this is my point why would you take on more work when you haven’t completed the backlog you have. I even afford him the opportunity to give the car back about 5 weeks ago.

Interesting that the fb page seems to be busy. I will have to do a review on trust pilot and all the feedback pages. I will pay under protest if I am asked to pay anything.

Feel free to comment on FB on my behalf. I would say something like havent you got cars in your garage from over 9 weeks ago you haven’t fixed but can give people timeframes for repairs. Fix that one first. Although I appreciate people won’t want to get involved. I respect that. But would be good for them to know people know about this. I bet there are loads of others too Current Cars

Wait until you get it back before firing bullets, if you'd have taken the courtesy car offered maybe he would have prioritised the repair, wanting the car back?

Not saying that your to blame in any way at all in this but things could have been easier for you with a bit of thought.

Hopefully you will have it back soon

Thumbs Up

Perhaps but they offered me a courtesy car on a Thursday and told me the car be done by the Tuesday so offered it to me late in the process which I declined as I thought it was done.

If they had offered it to me on day 1 or week one I would have took it. Current Cars

Looks like it is fixed (at last) and all for "just" £721.

But pick up tomorrow or storage charges after 48 hours, they are "taking the Michael" there alright!

My fingers are crossed for you that you will now get to enjoy your FF. 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD Sad

It's a miracle it's finally sorted. Just hope they honour their word and stick to the original quote

Oh no the £721 is from the 1st Feb when they said come pick the car up then called to say oh no sorry wrong ashley wrong car

They just text to say can I pick it up. Have not said if it is fixed or not. I assume it is not if I am honest. Or the text would have said good news or actually Sean would have called. The text tells me it’s not fixed and they haven’t got the seat to tell me Current Cars
