Took BB for a local (c5 miles) run out for the first time since xmas day now the lockdown rules have eased in Wales.

Finally got around to doing the common faulty fuel gauge on the 3.6 TDV8, bit messy cutting the wires and getting bullet connectors on but job done and the gauge now works perfectly. Gauge has started reading Zero all the time so decided today was the day I would do it, not a bad job to do but definitely take your time. |

Degreased engine front. Had some heavy oily residue left from the leaking VANOS solenoid seals. I had been avoiding this filthy job since changing them last month but had to get it done eventually. In need of a manicure now... |
