manifold inlet replace is a pig. it involves the injector leads coming off etc. Mine cost £1600 all in for pax side only. |

I'd say that's pretty well caked up. As far as I'm aware all of the little holes should be clear.

mine had 2-3mm of crap on it when i cleaned it. I only cleaned it as i was changing the oil cooler and had no faults other than the customary oil leak.

I cleaned mine by spraying with brake cleaner until all 4 holes were clear. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

There is a separate thread somewhere about the throttle body fitting. Try taking the silver clip off and tightening it between fingers then refit it. I replaced the whole unit with a brand new one and it was still a little loose onto the ali throttle body Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory" 2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many, many other Landies over the years My preferred specialist: www.glenrands.co.uk -------------------------------------------------- |

I clean mine every 6 months at the same time I do the oil service, just as a way of remembering to do it.

Subject to being able to test drive it once I replace the front air springs & calliper I’ve hopefully found the issue.
