Did the garage not diagnose it first?

There's another thread running currently re seized rear calipers; on both my L322s I have had this, if it happens you get a vibration through the car which can vary with speed (because the brakes get hotter when bound on at higher speed) and the seriousness of the seize. Sorted by a rebuild or new calipers. 5.0 S/C Autobiography - now gone to pastures new.... |

Worth checking for engine misfires, too. |

Check your wheels. Had mine checked by 3 garages who found nothing wrong, then one rebalanced the wheels and told me 2 were bent. Swapped and all sorted

Under what conditions does the vibration occur, acceleration, braking steady cruise above a certain speed, engine load, over-run etc etc? |
