Fit a Denso starter motor. Lot cheaper than Genuine and it’s what a few of us have fitted Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Update, its a runner, new battery, bit of fiddling about, erase all codes and it fired into life, seemed it had just been stood and low battery had caused issues, possibly even to the starter as even that needed a tap to get going, after running up to temp and going for a run it seems a good old thing, few oil leaks etc so decided i will continue with the initial plan to pull the engine and replace a fee things to future proof it a bit, list so far is:

Yes its a result, i dont mind going to town on it now as the engine being good gives me more budget |

Thats what i thought, just surprised to see prototype on it, im happy to find that its already on it and appears to have been there a long time, also found out today it has very recently had a new cooling fan. |

My friend works at a garage at a garage in balsall common/coventry, thats where its being done, they do lots of JLR engine work, the place is called Lavender Hall Autos. |

I tell you what mister AB-Black it's a bold move to take out an engine when you don't really need to; just for good measure. This is no MGB. But it's obviously a keeper. I reckon if I had a ramp I'd do the same.
