Dunnie, you’re looking on the wrong side, it’s in the o/s boot compartment. Before committing to the module though (They’re pretty reliable), check to see if all the sensors are working. Turn the ignition on but don’t start the engine, then select reverse. Once you’ve done that very gently rest the pad of your fingertip against each sensor. You should feel a very feint pulsing. If you’re in a very quiet area you can hold your ear to them and actually hear them. It only takes one to not be working and it’ll take the whole system down. If one or more aren’t working you need to focus your efforts on the ones that aren’t. If all eight are working it could be something as simple as the connection to the gong has worked loose. Have a play around and let us know how you get on.

Hello Dunnie, a code reader is always a worthwhile addition to your box of spanners (Especially driving a Range Rover!), but 9 times out of 10 you should be able to diag a PDC failure without. Just check the senors as above to start with as it's nearly always a sensor related problem. My own L322 had a PDC failure which I isolated to the n/s/f inner just by listening to them. Having swapped the inner and outer sensors over to see if the fault migrated (it didn't), it turned out to be a break in one of the three signal wires which I isolated by checking their continuity using a multimeter. Trouble is of course I then had to piggy back a new wire from the PDC unit in the o/s of the boot, all the way through the interior, through the bulkhead, and then across to the n/s/f to fix it, but fix it it did.

If you’ve found the module open it up & check for moisture. Had an issue on mine with PDC & module had corrosion on the circuit board & moisture inside
