The base fuel is all essentially the same (given it all meets the same standard and is only refined in a handful of locations), it’s about the additives added afterwards. |

Wouldn’t fancy running a 4.4 in Africa. The sulphur levels in African fuels can be much higher which can clog DPFs more quickly. It’s one of the reasons some country’s fatties are specced less a DPF filter.

My wife’s car is listed for 98ron, but I do wonder with all of the lock downs how much that stuff now sits in the tanks compared to standard 95.... |
