Well got the bovee 1000 cw ipod landrover lead wouldn't work with Android so my son tried it with his iPhone x. No joy keeps saying device error. Is there ccf files that need to be loaded to activate stereo. |

Not very helpful I know, but it will likely be either the cable or the Bovee. I would start with the cable...it may be good enough to provide power so you can “see” the Bovee. But not do data.

Found an old ipod thing and plugged it in still got device error maybe a bit of crackling noise. Anyone in Hampshire got a genuine lead I could try. If that works then it may prove that the bovee supplied lead is no good. |

Yes so if the iPod direct into the 30 pin lead still doesn’t work then it’s either the lead or the socket. I would hazard a guess it’s the lead. |

Seems that the phone connects to Bovee but won't connect to audio, just sais device error and then disconnects. |

If the same problem is there when connecting the iPod to the lead then I doubt the problem is with the Bovee

I'm having a similar problem. I've just bought and installed the Invery bluetooth adapter (https://invery.com/products/airdual-bluetooth-music-streaming-adapter-for-range-rover-land-rover) and it plugs into the ipod dock in the car (2011 4.4 tdv8), seemingly getting power as the lights are on and my phone can connect to it. My problem is that it doesn't seem to then connect to the car, I can't get anything on the screen when i select Ipod from the infotainment system (I think it say connection error).
