Oscar has sprung a good oil leak I think the sump plug repair has given up now. So swapped the Freelander and the Range Rover over for now although I can't use the Freelander either as front diff has no oil But the Freelander is being collected tomorrow evening to be taken to the garage, and I have parked the Range Rover up, couldn't get it over as far as I wanted as my garden is worse than an ice rink and even with low range, can't get the Range Rover over further. It gets up fine and doesn't get stuck, just wouldn't go exactly where I wanted it But the Freelander is going to be back on the road, hopefully by Saturday, and the Range Rover will be going off to the coast for now.

Now I need to buy a bait car and make sure I either catch the people in person, or get evidence that can't be ignored.

Well.... Things escalated quickly. Went from, my Discovery will be back 1st or 2nd week of January to, it was delivered to me today My Freelander went in last night with expectations of early next week, has turned into, will be done by closing time and my afternoon of trying to catch up on sleep ended up in a 2 hour trip to drop my Range Rover off to one of several safe locations it is now going to be stored at for a couple of months. So don't be shocked if you see a short blonde lady driving it. No, I haven't had a sex change, I have entrusted the car to my Mum But just to allow me enough space and time to get the current situation sorted. Already missing my Range Rover.

Well, this new Tier 4 lockdown now means, I am not allowed to go to the county where my Range Rover is so it won't be coming home just yet. However the off road parking situation has turned into a very hard lesson. 1 company charged me for a days work, but actually physically did 3.5 hours labour (Being generous there) and charged me £400 to dig up the garden to the level that wasn't deep enough, but were nice enough to lend me a petrol whacker machine until Wednesday. Ended up hiring someone who was made redundant due to the pandemic who worked his balls off at £10 an hour. Feel bad paying that, but I am all out of moola and had to borrow the extra money to get this sorted. So got 1 more day of labour to pay for the digging, but my partner is going to do the rest.

Which will mean I can clean all the cars and no more mud rings on the tyres or mud tracks on the path

But for now, the Range Rover stays out of harms way. And as soon as the restrictions are lifted enough, I will go down and give the old beast a run as my Mum has decided she doesn't really want to use it as it is too powerful and fast for her. Coming from the person who regularly exceeds limits in a Mondeo!

Unfortunately issues with the neighbour across the road haven't calmed down. But my stress levels have gone right down as I am able to keep 2 vehicles out of harms way.

Mud that is all needed to be dug out is now out. Freelander has gained an electrical problem so while I need to concentrate on the new garden, it is not being used now. I really miss my Range Rover and look forward to getting it back after this bull situation is over.

When my V8 does get to come home, I can now say I have somewhere off road I can work on it. Such a novelty for me. Despite my neighbour, I am starting to love the house I have.

I have extended the drive today to include the other side now. Going to call my insurance company next week and get the policy amended to say my cars are now parked on a drive.

I am glad I have trackers fitted to my cars, I check the voltage readings of the batteries every couple of days, and although the Range Rover has been gone for a few weeks, the voltage has just dipped below 12 volts, so I am going down tomorrow to give it a wash and a run and get shopping done. It does me off that I am having to live like this though to be honest.

But looking forward to taking the beast for a good run tomorrow.

Best angle of it that's why The side is rough as hell on the passenger side and the bonnet on the drivers side and well, most of the panels to be honest. Got a lot of painting to do.

But went down to give my Range Rover a run, I somehow managed to do 20.5 miles around Eastbourne But drove it all along slow and fast roads in the area, and it turns out, that my Mum had accidentally popped the tailgate via the remote a few days ago which triggered a slow drain on the battery and as she has decided that the Range Rover is too powerful for her, it is down to me to go down and give it the occasional blast until it comes home for good. I wanted to give it a wash, but ran out of time.

Came home, now my Freelander won't start a problem for another day

Exciting news, although my Range Rover is too loud to go to it, With the pandemic having a big impact (almost killing) my towing business, a chance meeting and new friendship has lead to a new joint business venture, which took off like a shot in just 1 week buying and selling certain products, that it meant we needed a premises, so found a premises that not only supports both of our existing businesses, but also is suitable for the new business venture. So now I have a place to rebuild Range Rover Wabco suspension compressors. Only down side is, we share the yard with stables and riding school, so my loud Range Rover cannot go right up to the workshop But finally seeing a way through this awful pandemic. Sadly not any closer to getting my Range Rover home though, although it will be home for a few days towards the end of February. I do miss it though.

Huge drama, Never teaming up with anyone again to help them, ended up imprisoned, assaulted, stolen from and that's where I am going to leave that. No longer have the workshop, thankfully managed to get out of the contract after the owner of the yard heard what exactly happened. I was an idiot trusting someone.

But, my green Discovery 3 decided to eat another calliper and as my Range Rover is due an MOT shortly anyway, I went and collected Oscar early. That V8 burble really is tune that cheers me up. Only down side is, The car reminded me that there is still a coolant loss problem somewhere So that is being checked on Monday.

Was great getting the Range Rover home though. Gave Oscar a much over due bath as well today.

Took my V8 for his MOT today, I was at the garage collecting the Agila's gearbox anyway, needless to say, He passed with 2 advisories. Very very happy

Also finally found the mystery coolant leak that has baffled me for years and we thought kept being solved after replacing most of the cooling system, turns out the expansion bottle that was fitted (brand new when fitted), had a pin sized hole in the bottom of it So have ordered a cheap MAHL tank from Euro's so I can get it back on the road for a week or so. Then sadly Oscar will go back to his safe place for a month or so until I have enough money spare to risk parking the Freelander on the road and see if tyres get stabbed again.
