Does the heater ramp up after it's started, does become quite a roar if running correctly. If you look underneath (nearside front) you should see it's exhaust which should be hot enough for your skin to stick to it if it's running at full power. If you're not getting warm air inside, check that the electric water pump is running, if it isn't the water in the heater gets hot, doesn't go anywhere and the heater shuts down because the water is hot. With the timer set on mine it works completely randomly, with full tank or only say a third, makes no diff , one morning it's on, another it just doesn't switch on?? Baffling! 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

I'm suspicious that my changeover valve isn't isolating the matrix which is why mine doesn't get very warm. It defrosts the windscreen, but really doesn't warm the interior much.

That’s all mine does to be fair. It doesn’t run for that long, so it’s not going to be As warm as like When the engine is running. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I had the opposite a few months ago. The o ring in the valve was swollen so didn't allow engine coolant into the system. |
