Why take it off? Put your new glue in the spaces. |

If you do decide to glue in the spaces, I certainly would, be sure to clean everything with methylated spirits beforehand to ensure the glue sticks correctly. |

Try MultiSolve. It's in a spray can.

I was thinking about taking my chrome mirror covers off, but this has pit me off. Did you ever get it sorted? |

I did, I used multisolve in the end with a lot of scraping with one of those plastic tools that you get the lettering off with. It took a while but was worth it. I replaced the chrome covers with Java black though, I couldn’t of got the stock mirrors back to a passable state. |

I appreciate that one of the great things about the world of Range Rovers is that it’s a broad church of tastes.......but personally, I think you and anybody else who removes a set of chrome mirror covers from a Range Rover should get a gold star or free pint Archieatkins!
