4 hours seems a tad excessive to me for a workshop. 3 sounds more reasonable.

4 hours is about how long it'd take me with the car on jacks and axle stands rolling around on the floor, that's with cleaning everything up correctly and using ceramic grease on all the right bits.

I'd personally would steer clear of Britpart brake parts - I've had some items of questionable quality over the years from them.

I've just had all four discs, pads and handbrake shoes fitted at my local indy (as part of my MOT) and the labour cost was £60 + VAT. I supplied the discs and pads (got them from Maltings for £265.00 all-in, Allmakes Discs and Delphi Pads) and shoes (£30 for TRW shoes).
Had new brake lines fitted (both sides front to rear), cost £137.00 + VAT and new rear flexi hoses, cost £70.00 + VAT.

Yep I agree with the above. With a 2 post lift and a big box of tools, 1/2 hour ish a corner for the fronts, a little longer for the rears as you need to fiddle with the handbrake and reset it.

Just did all the discs and pads on my 405, and at a leisurely pace took about 3 1/2 hours on the drive There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I think I have the 6 POT fronts and I called JLR, got the part numbers then ordered direct from ECP using the Brembo website.

I supplied to the local garage with and they have been utter the last 3k! I've not had more than 20k from the discs and pads on the front and the sensor light isn't on and they are awful so just changing them out now. Pretty disappointed.

I got 42k out the previous set when I got the car, and ok they were on their last legs but I was super impressed they did that much. all smug in my new plug!

Parts from Said establishment are probably OK for glorified shopping trolleys but for a 2.5ton vehicle that could be turning the scales at over twice that loaded with a trailer, really ? 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

I have ordered all my parts from Island 4x4 in Maidstone as they are nearest to me and had free delivery. I have previously used Britpart before without any issues and they come with 24 months warranty. So I have bought Britpart grooved and drilled discs and pad wear sensors, Brembo pads for front and Delphi pads for rear. Also bought some copper grease and a rear RH calliper as the slide pin has seized on that one - this might not need replacing. Have a trip to Cornwall next week to try them out....!

Ceramic Silverhook SGPG70 or zinc grease like Permtex is better performing and less problematic with reacting to aluminum and causing galling. Copper slip anti seize is a bit ‘old hat’ now.

My new Delphi pads turned up this afternoon so I had a spare hour and swopped out the padgid ones from ECP.
Think I found the cause of the grinding iv had for a while glad I didn't rip out my wheel bearings now.
