Only bit most likely did not need was inner tie rods but labour trying to get old ones unstuck vs new ones.. so on..

Olds parts show they were indeed in need of replacing... 3 blown ball joints.. other ones very worn.. rubber bushing were really crap condition and one bush metal casting had blown out..

Strange how front car was in need all this but the rear bushing and so on all seems good at the moment. 2003 Range Rover 4.4 Litre V8 - Adriatic blue

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Had the rear suspension bushings done yesterday.
The oil and filter change was a bit of a f up and today I had to go back to let them drain 2 liters of overfill out.

But today I FINALLY got my Kiwi plates and it is now fully road legal here (including over the top underbody protection).

So this weekend I'm going on the first proper road trip, first to the Whangamomona hotel and then Mt Damper Falls. Little 4 hr. round trip with some proper gravel roads.

Happy camper here!!! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Got to play with my new toy -

Expensive but very impressed Thumbs Up

Set the pressure, screw onto the valve, press the button & away it goes until done. It's quick & fairly quiet. I hadn't realised how much of a faff my old one was, needing a cable Laughing .

Just drove it. 250 kilometers yesterday and another 200 today.
From tarmac to mud, through harvested wheat fields and olive fields all the way up the hills rock crawling. Had an absolute blast!

Yesterday gave the old girl a good wash, drive a few miles to shake off any water droplets hiding somewhere, then used the new car cover to protect her against leaves, bits of sap & general crud. It's only a cheapie but seems ok.

First drive Whangamomona Hotel Forgotten World Highway

On Saturday we took the RR, now fully registered in NZ, to Whangamomona and along the Forgotten World Highway. Part of the FWH is gravel road so she got a bit dusty!!!!! She is so nice to drive on these twisty roads and on the gravel (and bad surfaces). I think we're going to enjoy driving here even more!!

Working vehicle

Put the old beast to work, tows effortlessly, just don't look at the instant fuel consumption.

Installed a complete interior LED kit (from Amazon kit recommended on this forum)

Only issues the passenger "knee" light is very nearly impossible to do, at least for my hands, I removed the cup holder which helped.
The Approach/under mirror do not work.
And I have two lamps left over.

Had one front calliper replaced - yes one!

I noticed a weep from the drivers side calliper so ordered a pair, however, they only had one side in stock, thankfully the one I needed, so I'm driving around with one new calliper until the other one arrives, as it's on back order.

On the ramp, oil and filter changed ( and I undo the difficult nut behind the crossmember to drain ! ) . Do this every 8 thous miles.
