2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Found a use for the daft door pockets.....

Found an old M and S humberolly which fits nicely.

Also swapped out the gen boot “tray” for a rubber boot Mat, I much prefer the mat. it’s not a real one it’s a Brit part one off of eBay but it seems perfectly alright.

So I will have a boot tray for sale to anyone who is after one shortly. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Car has a slight resonance on the steering wheel at 1050 rpm.

Been out and had a good listen. Can’t find anything.

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Keep on driving, might give it a wash today as it’s particularly filthy from the recent Dorset trip! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Above seems to come and go. Not noticed it so much over the last couple of weeks.

Anyone had theirs ceramic coated? Was thinking about getting the 405 done but no idea about costs etc. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

just had mine done... it looks good today... i would like to see what's it like in the next couple of months and how easy it is to wash...

costs in Luxembourg about €2000 (high end of quotes) but the place has a good reputation...

work that was done: 2 sets of wheels, all of the glass including the panoramic roof, A, B and C pillars wrapped & paint coated...

Maintainance wash there once a year warranty for 5 years... SDV8 AB MY 2020

Had mine done a few weeks ago by LCM in Tamworth, it cost £325.

Gave mine a wash an polish.

Then managed to drive down the side of a gorse bush.

So out with the polish again, starting to wish I’d held out for another red one!

The strange noise saga continues. It’s hard to make it do it when stationary, and listen round the car at the same time..... I think it now sounds louder towards the rear of the engine, and more underneath..... definitely a rotational noise, something on the drivetrain. Almost sounds like the a fainter version of the hydraulic pump on my digger when it’s running low on fluid....

First thoughts were PAS pump, but there isn’t one, then the ARC pump, but that’s at the front, it’s also not the oil pump, LT says he’s had all those replaced on his and his still makes the noise, the only other pump which moves fluid is the TC.....

Doesn’t affect the drive though so it’s not a massive issue. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

these little squeaks and creaks are annoying more than anything..

and yes black is a pain to keep clean.. ... - .- -.

It is looking quite shiny now tho Stan! Just need to get the wheels refurbished now (or some new ones...🤔😁) There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
