Took New Shiney to the stealer yesterday to get its 5 year service. All went to plan and they did the diff oils for me as well. It gets changed on the locking diffs, but not on the open ones....

Had a text the other week for a random registration, from DVLA saying the MoT was due. Took a second to realise but itās the red Fattie, on a new plate obviously when you ask for a reminder for an MoT then the system updates to the new Reg.

Had a cracked screen once with my Disco 1. Got a new screen fitted and then went to drive out through the village and a truck coming the other way, threw up a stone. Another cracked screen. Fortunately my insurance company believed me when I explained.

Iāve had a few done over the years, last was on a 322 and tbh Autoglass did a bang up job. Itās just going to annoy me that it doesnāt say RANGE ROVER in the corner any more, and will now say pilkington.....hopefully...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammeršš

I had two L405 windscreens fitted by Autoglass last week and I requested one as genuine and it came with the Range Rover logo, the other came as a Pilkington.

I have asked them for a Pilkington one, so we will see what turns up. They canāt do it until next Friday though as it needs to go to a depot so they can do it properly. Apparently itās in a Morrissons car park, so Iām assuming it is a āPodā unit. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammeršš

If you like keeping your fattie or indeed any other car nice and shiny without the need to polish it every other week. Then try COBALT from autosmart. It's absolutely fantastic. Every time you wash your car, after rinsing it just spray COBALT on the body panel while it's still wet and wipe down dry with a microfibre cloth, not with a shammy. It leaves it looking sparkling and after each use it gets better and better. Leaves no swirl marks or streaks and even use it on the windows and plastic trim so when it rains it just beads off. I've been using it for the last few weeks on my fattie and works Van after I was recommended it by another driver. It truly is amazing stuff. I bought 5 litres for Ā£20 from Taunton Deane North services on the M5, the truck wash. I recommend you all get some and try it yourself. It will make washing the fattie a whole lot easier. Post on here if you buy some and tell us what you think after a few uses. |

New screen went in today, in fairness Autoglass have made a neat job, all the seals and trims are sitting nicely. The only thing the damages was a trim screw cover, and they have ordered me another one and will come to me to fit it.
