I have similar but haven't investigated yet. Not bad enough to trouble me but does rear its head on certain tracks. Will watch this thread with interest. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Blown speaker, door card easy to get off, a little more fiddly to get back on , hardest part is making sure you detach all the electrical connectors properly , and on re assembly getting the top black plastic channel of the card seated correctly against the window , on a hardness scale its a 3 out of 10 |

Also worth checking your sub hasn't shaken free from it's bolts. Mine used to do this regularly - in the end I used loctite on the bolts! Land Rover Addict

Bottom speaker in the drivers door is def faulty, slightest touch of the cone while sound playing causes buzzzzzz/distortion.

Had the exact same problem with mine. Only my problem speaker was the front passenger bottom speaker. I bought a full set of speakers off ebay for 90 qiud and replaced said speaker. Its now perfect. Tony

Cheers I don't need a full set, just need to know if I can put a non harmon kardon speaker in as they seem physically the same. I'm not an audiophile.. as long as I can hear my Barry Manilow music... |

Not too sure. But you're welcome to have the said speaker. it's no use to me. I did some checking when mine blew and was told that LR build to a price and that a lot of very low voltage and small wires are used. so it's difficult to replace with aftermarket without upsetting the BCU and the head unit.

That's very kind, thanks. If I can't resolve shortly I'll be in touch. |
