That worked, how did you get the top off of the arm rest... I did it but not sure what caused it to happen. Would like to do the second one easier... SDV8 AB MY 2020

Did you remove the armrest top? If so, look about 3" (8cm) in from the rear, there is a plastic ramp the holds everything together. I got mine off, by prying gently up at the very rear (to clear the lip) and at this point (about 3" in) while sliding the top forward. The top should pop forward a bit, and then just lift off. Goes back together by pushing top to the rear. Once you have it apart, its pretty obvious how its wants to go back together.

The coat hooks I thought you could just pop off an existing cover or hook and pop these the autobio ones on? Guess not. Looks like you have to remove the b pillar panel and then drill into it/screw into it. No thanks. I have extended leather so not drilling into that. Would have been a nice touch though 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC 2008 FFRR (sold) 2008 BMW M5 |

Thanks... i don’t think you have to drill for the hooks. The current ones are also screwed in, unless it is different for facelift cars... SDV8 AB MY 2020
