I didn't bother with the coat hooks - too little bang for buck. But after I did the armrest adjusters I did the gear selector, the surrounds on both the glovebox and start button as well as the chrome surrounding the knobs. All the bits came from China and cost buttons but fit well and look good.

Nice loving the look!!

Could you do a break down of parts and costs possibly?

I'd be keen to do this on mine.

All from same supplier? all smug in my new plug!

I went Ali Express because it is cheap - you can pay more than twice as much for the same thing from certain suppliers Whistle

Just search for Range Rover accessories wherever you go - as Stan says plenty of it - I even got a key ring case with Range Rover on it - don't think you can now. I just swapped the internals.

notanrdx,

Thank you for posting some key instructions. I've tried different variants for 30min on our MY20 but nothing - the top doesn't budge and I'm afraid of breaking something.

Is your Rangie a MY18+ or earlier?

It would be amazing if someone can film the removal of the top on their facelifted MY18+ . The Chinese videos don't help much Big Cry

thank you

Did you remove the armrest top? If so, look about 3" (8cm) in from the rear, there is a plastic ramp the holds everything together. I got mine off, by prying gently up at the very rear (to clear the lip) and at this point (about 3" in) while sliding the top forward. The top should pop forward a bit, and then just lift off. Goes back together by pushing top to the rear. Once you have it apart, its pretty obvious how its wants to go back together.

Good luck.

Be very careful, it's all plastic now and very prone to cracking/scratching/breaking! Basically you have to gently lift the rear upper armrest while pushing it horizontally towards the front until it unclips. Then it simply lifts. The lower part is a single piece now, so there is a white clip that needs to be pushed down and frees the knob. Just like in the chinese movie. I would love to show you how, but I didn't know this when I changed mine and I made a mess which had to be held with glue afterwards...

Thanks for the advice!

Started with the driver's armrest today and the top came off just like you described. Using some of the videos as a guide the actual swap was quick and easy. Took about 3min.

The passenger armrest however was a 30min wrestle until the top finally came off. Managed to pull it off without breaking any of the clips - although I was convinced that half of then snapped when it finally came off. Same thing. 3min swap and then 1min assembly.

We speced our Rangie with an Art Deco theme in mind, and in my opinion the knobs go very well with our Ebony/Ivory/Grand Black Veneer/Ebony Leather headlining configuration.

The parts I used are original SVO knobs. They weren't exactly cheap but have a very nice heft and finish to them. Highly irrational but feels better with OEM parts made in the UK installed in our 2 months old Rangie Mr. Green

Last but certainly not least, wife is also very happy Thumbs Up

PS, Adada, we have a P400e PHEV too. Love it so far! My InControl software is still stuck on 19D though and software updates tell me there are no other upgrades Big Cry

Glad I could be of help!

Concerning the update, you have to contact the dealership (or any authorized JLR venue with access to TOPIx) in order for them to enable SOTA on their side. Then the update(s) will be available.
